Monona Community Festival searches for local restaurants & food carts for “Taste of the Fourth”
We to invite local restaurants and food carts to participate in the annual “Taste of the Fourth” to be held on the 4th of July in Winnequah Park. The Monona Community Festival runs from Monday, July 3 through Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, but the Taste is only held on the 4th each year. The deadline to apply for space is June 1, 2017. The entry fee is $300 per vendor. A portion of the entry fee is used to promote the Monona Community Festival.

Taste of the Fourth FAQs:
-The will be held on July 4th between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
-Parking for vendors is available in several parking lots within walking distance of Winnequah Park.
-Vendors can begin set up any time after 7:30 a.m. the day of the event and are allowed to come and go during the event. However, be aware that the crowds gathering for the fireworks may make leaving the grounds difficult after 7 p.m.
-Hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, popcorn, nachos, bottled soft drinks and bottled water will be sold in our Festival Food Tent. Taste Vendors may not sell the items listed above, so please refrain from including these items in your menus. Ice cream will be sold as a fundraiser by a non-profit group. You are welcome to include other types of non-alcoholic drinks and desserts on your menus.
-Restaurant Vendors (not available for food carts) will be supplied with two 8-foot tables to use for serving, and standard 3-prong electrical outlets are available 120 feet from the tent. Please bring extension cords if you require electricity for your booth.
-No water will be available. Please bring your own water supply for food prep, cleaning, etc.
-Dane County Public Health will inspect food booths and food carts. If your business does not currently have a Dane County Mobile Restaurant permit, the Environmental Health Department will require a temporary permit fee (Cost is $76 for 2015).

-All Vendors must provide proof of insurance that lists individually both the Monona Community Festival and the City of Monona as additional insureds. Proof of insurance must be provided by June 15.
-Vendors are responsible for banners and signage.
